I suspect that the report is not enabled.

The report is indeed enabled.
Are you able to export the plugin_nectar* tables and pm/email them to me?

Thera are two tables in the cacti db that I need: plugin_nectar and plugin_nectar_items.
Please dump those either by using mysqldump or e.g. phpmyadmin and post them to my email account (find it underneath each of my posts)

I obviously had to change the graphs to be mailed, but it simply works for me.
What happens, when you manually send the report in question by selecting "Send Now" action?
Did you verify, that Cacti is correctly configured for sending EMails (see "Settings -> Mail/DNS", try to send a test email here until everything is set up correctly).
And it may happen, that sending of email is supported but the email itself gets rejected due to a spam policy or the like

Reinhard,

What about /etc/php.ini setting "date.timezone = Somewhere". Might be the issue...

Ok, but the OP reported, that on the sending system he found some maillog entries. So I supposed (in the first instance), that the report is generated and trying to be send. I currently suspect an issue in the mail send path.
