how to monitor netapp each volume or lun by cacti

Post by wangdx77 »

Hi ALL,
I would like use cacti to monitor each volume of netapp. can you tell me how?
I used netapp command can look like:
volume:vol0:total_ops:1/s
volume:s2wenlipn:total_ops:0/s
volume:test1:total_ops:0/s
volume:test2:total_ops:0/s
volume:test3:total_ops:0/s

how to let cacti monitor the volumes
I mean I want to let one volume have one graph
for example, test1 have a graph on cacti
test2 also have a graph on cacti
thanks

The first step is to study 1st link of my sig.
Your issue sounds like Data Query type of solution. Depending an SNMP support, you will create an "SNMP data Query" or a "Script Data Query". But first, please search the Scripts and Templates Forum for Netapp solutions provided by cacti users
