SPINE: Poller[0] FATAL: Unable to read configuration file!

hi all,

having problems with spine...always getting this error-message:
/usr/local/spine/bin/spine
05/04/2011 04:19:32 PM - SPINE: Poller[0] FATAL: Unable to read configuration file! (Spine init)

tried already this:

Does your spine.conf exist at any of the directories above?
If so, does poller process have permissions for that file?

copying spine.conf from /usr/local/spine/etc to /etc helped.
