Re: Mikrotik RouterOS Statistics (Update 02/10/2009)
it seems doesn't work anymore on 4.10? i've got nan on all interface, cacti 0.8.7g on freebsd 8.1..
Re: Mikrotik RouterOS Statistics (Update 02/10/2009)
Make sure you are set to SNMP V1 on Cacti and then refresh the queries. This fixed the issue for me.foxmulder wrote:it seems doesn't work anymore on 4.10? i've got nan on all interface, cacti 0.8.7g on freebsd 8.1..
Cheers!
Re: Mikrotik RouterOS Statistics (Update 02/10/2009)
Yes, you should change SNMP version from 2 to 1. For me it works too.
Btw, is there a way to monitor NAT sessions on Mikrotik?

Re: Mikrotik RouterOS Statistics (Update 02/10/2009)
For example, I have a board-router Mikrotik with NAT. Inside router i can see max number NAT-sessions which users opens (for Internet, P2P etc.). I need one Cacti template, which will describe the max/min/aver nr. of all sessions in time.mojiro wrote:eltonzoto wrote:Yes, you should change SNMP version from 2 to 1. For me it works too.

Re: Mikrotik RouterOS Statistics (Update 02/10/2009)
I will review the snmp tree of Mikrotik, but I do not think that there is something new or an easy workaround.

Anyway, thanks
Re: CCQ and SNR on MikroTik
The only work I ever saw done on CCQ is this:superdust wrote:....
Just one queston, is there no way to read out SNR and CCQ on MikroTik?

I have also logged support on MikroTik's forum, without any answer:

Re: Mikrotik RouterOS Statistics (Update 02/10/2009)
On cacti 0.8.7g (Gentoo Linux, rrdtool 1.3.8 (also tried 1.3.9 and 1.4.5), apache 2.2.17), after adding a device with routeros v5.5 (also tried v4.16), snmp v1, the host shows up fine, but when trying to monitor queue tree, an error appears:
SNMP debugging shows(I think it's the CPU load OIDs):
Thanx.
Also, if I look and the device, all associated data queries have 0 items/rows:+ Running data query [14].
+ Found type = '3' [snmp query].

+ Could not find data query XML file at '/var/web/htdocs/cacti/resource/snmp_queries/mikrotik_queue_simple.xml'
I double checked and the file is there. Also, tried monitoring CPU usage and after one query showing up, I got all 0%.1) Mikrotik - Queue - Simple (Verbose Query) Uptime Goes Backwards Success [0 Items, 0 Rows] Reload Data Query Delete Data Query Association

Is this the problem on permissions?
Can Cacti (and poller) read that file?
% ls -l /var/web/htdocs/cacti/resource/snmp_queries/mikrotik_queue_simple.xml

Re: Mikrotik RouterOS Statistics (Update 02/10/2009)
Yes, it was owned by root:root, and everybody else had read permissions. I've set it to be owned by apache:apache and everything is fine now. Thanx.

never thought it could be as easy as that. Read more in www.debuntu.org/how-to-monitor-your-ser ... -and-cactianrima wrote:Make sure you are set to SNMP V1 on Cacti and then refresh the queries.
