I'm hoping someone could help me with a, I think, MySQL problem. First time using this first time installing Cacti. I'm doing it on a Windows 2003 Server.
Heres what I'm getting:
When I try to login at the web browser cacti login page it keeps saying Invalid User Name/Password Please Retype: No matter what user or password I choose. Either Root or the cactiuser. I can login fine using the GUI or CLI. I even tried the GUI admin tools to change the password.
I found another similiar thread but I'm not sure its the same thing. I tried a number of different config setting changes in the include/config.php, my.ini, and php.ini to no avail. I also saw someone talking about the MD5 checksum. I couldnt find any fix that was mentioned, wondering if thats the issue if they can post a link. Lastly I was looking at the USER_AUTH table which I read about and noticed only an admin and guest account is that correct? I tried adding the cactiuser but no go.
Thanks for your help, if theres anymore info that would be handy I'll gladly post.
