Issue after upgrading PIA from 2.5 to 2.9

As the title says, upgraded PIA to v2.9 on Cacti 0.8.7g (Windows 2003 SP2)

When I click on the Plugin Management link I get a blank page and the following in the cacti log:

03/31/2011 01:17:29 PM - CMDPHP: Poller[0] ERROR: A DB Exec Failed!, Error:'1050', SQL:"CREATE TEMPORARY TABLE plugin_temp_table_29670 LIKE plugin_config'

I have checked the user permissions in mysql and they look correct.

Any ideas what I have done wrong?

Is the table "plugin_config" available?

Yes, I can see it in MySQL Administrator.

However, it has 0 rows

Sorry but that doesn't make a lot of sense to me - I know very little MySQL.

Do I need to drop the table and check to see if it gets recreated?

Can anyone offer any assistance on this? I currently have no way of managing plugins

Please issue "DROP TABLE plugin_temp_table_29670" from mysql.

And what does "CREATE TEMPORARY TABLE plugin_temp_table_29670 LIKE plugin_config" return?

I get "Query returned no result" with the following error in the log when I go to the Plugin Management link:

Very strange.... just checked again and I can now see the PIA page.... it's a miracle

Last entry for the SQL error in the log was about 20 minutes before I checked the page, no changes have been made.... very weird.
