Cacti monitoring disk space of Windows 2003 server

Post by Zaibatsu »

Hi,

I have a problem with Cacti monitoring a Windows 2003 server.
My Cacti version is the most recent (Version 0.8.7g ) and runs on a Linux OpenSuse machine. What I want Cacti to do is to monitor the available/used disk space for each partition of the Windows server.
I added the Windows Server as a host and selected "Unix - Available disk space" as the Selected Graph Template, but there is also "Host MIB - Available disk space" an option to choose. I don't know what to choose, but anyways both of the options don't work properly.
When I select Unix it shows 4.60T as the current used disk space, which is nearly correct, as my server currently has 4.6GB in use.
With Host MIB selected it doesn't create a graph at all. (Maybe because I changed some values in the Graph Template, but I swear it didn't work before ;) )

I'm sorry if this is a common problem. I didn't find anything helpfull searching the internets.

Thanks in advance

Did you activate SNMP on Windows 2003 server?
