tcp and udp ports monitor

Post by youwereout »

Hello

I am new to cacti and are unsure how to monitor specific ports on my windows server 2008 box. I am running several game servers on this box and I am wanting each game to have its own graph. Each game has its own port for instance tcp port 27000 is for only one game. I haven't found anything after searching for a while to monitor specific ports with cacti on a windows machine. I have only found people asking about this problem but no answers. Is this even possible with cacti? Any help is much appreciated.

I was hoping to monitor bandwidth and the number of users using the port(number of people logged in).

bandwidth per port you'll have to use another tool like nflow/ntop, etc. Concurrent users in-game you'll have to investigate yourself as this is not a standard 'windows' functionality.
