No User Ports Up/Active Macs

Post by scruboy01 »

Just completed a new isntall of Cacti and mactrack. Have been using the older versions, but haven't upgraded in a while. Added 4 devices (2 dist. switches and 2 access switches). The devices page is showing IPs and User Ports but no User Ports Up or Active Macs. A select * from mac_track_ports shows no rows. There are no errors from running the poller manually except for some PHP Warnings. Any help would be appreciated.

Code: Select all

I've also noticed this in the cacti log:

Code: Select all

CMDPHP: Poller[0] WARNING: SNMP Get Timeout for Host:'<supersecrethostname>', and OID:'.1.3.6.1.2.1.17.1.2.0'

PHP error messages gone by disabling fileinfo and memcache extentions.

snmpget to the OID listed above works from the command line.

Anyone?

Turns out the devices with problems had an @ in the community string. They are working now.

@scruboy01

I`f changed the Com. string. Now indeed i have "up" ports and some mac addresses.

it says that i have 14 active mac`s
If i hit the mac tab i only see two addresses. where are those other addresses?

It also say 14 users ports up. But i count way more interfaces that are up.

Do you have that two?

Thx in advanced
