[XML/PERL] Cisco Remote Ping Template and script

i run the perl on the command it is ok.
But the graph show no data. why this happen?

Sorry to dig this old post up.

I've gotten the rping.pl script to work but in my cacti log I'm getting red errors saying that it's returning empty results.
Has anyone got this to work on 0.8.7e? and if they have could they tell me how to do it please?

If not then is there anyone that could help to fix this?

copy scripts to /var/www/html/scripts,then inport xml file to cacti.

I have imported it to may cacti,and have drew graph,but I still have a question.when I need to monitor many remote hosts,how to add them ?
I have tried to use `add device`,`copy data source`,but failed.
It didn't appeared in generate graph item,however the data can be saw in data source.
who can tell me how to use Template add many remote hosts to the cacti graph?

Cacti allow only one instance of each template per host.
For each new remote host you have to ping, create a new device and had the remote ping template to it.

as my thought
if do this,I must need all the devices are Cisco,and their snmp community to be configured in RW mode,so dangerous.
Alought I use AdvancedPing Template can make ping graph of many devices,but it due to the load of cacti host.
hope cacti make new version ,or new template script to do it.
