Pillar Data Systems Storage

Post by astalus »

Here's a first initial implementation for a Pillar Data Systems San. It only does FC San based statistics as I don't have need for any iscsi or nas statistics at this time.

All data is gathered via a snmp_query as pillar exports all information to snmp. It should work with multiple controller pairs etc but again I don't have the hardware to test this out for sure.

Here's the final graph I create for now:

Awesome, good work.
Going to give it a try on our Axiom 300.

Hope it works well for you. I don't see why it would not as the oid's should be the same between a 300 and 600.

I also did one more graph that I had the data for already but forgot to generate. Its a per port MBPS graph.

Please note that the above items will only work on Pillar systems running version 4.x.x of firmware. Anyone running version 5.x.x will have empty graphs as the mib id's have changed. I just found this out as I went through an upgrade last week and will work on changing it so it all works again. Once I have this done I'll post the new versions of the snmp_queries that will work for version 5 firmware servers.
