hm .. yeah :-)

Btw, 1.50.86 is out ... But I'm working on some new features like Availability data (table/graph) on a per tree basis. And a new cool feature allowing end-users to view already created reports ...

Hello,

2 errors found in Cereus:
- the cacti log shows hundreds of line like "NMID CereusReporting - New host data found "
- pdf creation does not work in view detailed graphs: grpahs->select one graph to view all RRAs and then hit pdf-create (works with the old "createPDFReport_mrtgStyle.php" from nmid)

Code: Select all

<br />
<br />
<b>Notice</b>:  Undefined variable: tree_id in <b>/var/www/cacti/plugins/nmidCreatePDF/createPDFReport_mrtgStyle.php</b> on line <b>135</b><br />

Version 1.52 has been released.
This relase fixes the MRTG-Style view problem as well as enabling the "include sub-tree" functionality for adding all graphs from a sub-tree to a report.

Version 1.60 is going to be released within the next few hours. It will have the ability to have end-users view already created/archived reports only:

* Allow end-user to view already created reports/archives
* Assign reports to specific Archive User Groups
* Add users to one or more Archive User Groups
* Users can mark reports as read, unread or even hide reports

Look at the attached image for an example.

Progress on the next version is really good. Version 1.70 is going to have the following features:

- Weathermap support ( Add weathermaps to your PDF Reports !)
- Data aggregation for the availability charts data ( this will greatly reduce the table size )
- New availability charts type ( as mentioned earlier ) with support for availability exceptions (see chart image)
- Ability to add new graphs at a specific point in the report ( reducing manual work to move the graphs )
- Ability to only add the availability table to a report without the graph
- The trial version will not cause your Cacti installation to stop working when the license key expires. ( The Express Edition license never expires ).
- Some minor bug fixes

The next major release ( Version 2.0 ) is going to be a stand-alone version supporting multiple Cacti instances ( and the upcoming remote/distributed nmidPoller for Cacti ) .

Great news ! :)

The new availability charts type will be on all on the tree ?

I have 5 top of tree. Each top of tree have 40 branch each branch have 2 more device.
I will have the new availability charts on the each top of tree AND in top of branch ?

Top Level Tree -> No ( not yet )
Sub Tree(s) -> Yes
Device/Host -> No ( The other availability chart is displayed at the host level, but I'm thinking about changing this or at least let the user decide what should be displayed here ).

Sub Tree(s) means: All devices at and below that tree will be displayed.

I checked the posiblity to create a Top level graph, but unfortunately this is not possible, as the plugin hook is only called when a leaf-id is provided.

You ca change that by editing the file lib/html_tree.php manually and commet out lines 1206 and 1208 ( on a PIA 2.9 patched Cacti system ...)

Code: Select all

   1205         /* nmid start */
   1206 //      if (!empty($leaf_id)) {
   1207                 do_hook_function('tree_after',$host_name.','.get_request_var("leaf_id"));
   1208 //      }
Obviously this is only going to work when you're running the not-yet published Version 1.70 ;-)
