PIA 2.8 plugin manager missing

Post by drsketch »

Hello,

Cacti .8.7g installed
PIA 2.8 installed, also tried PIA 2.9, no realm permission to add or plugin manager button under 'configuration'

Checked mysql and the correct tables are there. replaced all the web pages as noted in documentation.

My www with apache is non standard, my root is a nagios directory, so viewing cacti as /cacti/

also noted the following in /include/config.php
$url_path = "/cacti/";

I have restarted apache, dropped the tables in mysql, tried the 2.9 beta to no avail.

I would like to use cacti to grab syslog-ng logs, and data from nagios, if anyone could assist it would be greatly appreciated. I kind of like cacti but about to move to something else due to time constraints.

If you directly access the URL 'http://your-server/cacti/plugins.php', what displays?
("Access Denied" or else?)

And this query?
% mysql -uUSER -pPASS cacti -e 'select * from plugin_realms'

Normally as follows, I think..

Code: Select all

+----+----------+-------------+-------------------+
| id | plugin | file | display |
+----+----------+-------------+-------------------+
| 1 | internal | plugins.php | Plugin Management |
+----+----------+-------------+-------------------+
