Adding OID graphs to host templates

Post by purecharger »

I am trying to accomplish something with Cacti that seems like basic functionality, but I cannot see the proper way to go about it:

I have an application on a machine with custom SNMP OIDs exposed via an AgentX subagent. This application is constantly being deployed to new machines, and needs to be monitored by Cacti. What I want to be able to do is create a Host Template that contains a single graph for every OID (currently ~20) so that I can just add a new Device (Host) and all the graphs now show up for the new host.

How do I go about this?

I see that I can add a Generic SNMP Graph Template to a Host, but what do I do to add 20 (or more) SNMP Graphs?

Thank you!

You may indeed add all required graphs to a host template. Then, use AUTOM8 to make cacti create all required graphs as soon as a new host is created
