CLOUD COMPUTING .... HELP....

Post by gros_manu »

Hello,
I would like to monitor the cloud. The equipment can therefore change interfaces automatically. I use a router nexus. Do you have any ideas?

The question is way too generic. What does "the cloud" resolve to in your case? Routers, switches, servers, ...? What do you want to see from them?

we have cisco switches, routers, linux and windows hosts. We can manually add and create graphs on these hosts without any problems. But in cloud enviroment, since devices are more dynamically added, I was looking for some sort of guideline to how to set it up. for example, a host is set up dynamically, how cacti can add this host and create graphs dynamcially? can using discovery/autom8 plugins accomplish this?

For accuracy:

We have several VMware ESX, two nexus1000V (virtual switch) to which we do chraph VMs.
The ESX are connected to one another. Depending on server load, can change the VM server / ESX and then change the port on the Nexus 1000V. The problem is that cacti graph not harsher this port change.

Someone got there a solution or proceed in the same way?

For information on the illustrations of the link. VM # 1 little changed on the server 1, 2 or 3 and change the port.
