plugin_db_changes table - size

Post by monideth »

Hi,

I am trying to do some house-keeping on the cacti database before a migration.

I notice the table called 'plugin_db_changes' is quite large - over 550K entries and over 35MB in size.

What is this table used for? Why is it so large and can it be flushed/emtied without causing any issues to the plugin architecture or to any of the plugins themselves?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Regards,

Mon

I'm also curious about why this table is so massive? :-?

I just saw a post that complained about massive entries stemming from discovery plugin. Please verify
