We are using Cacti to graph many things successfully including gathering statistical data from Cisco Content Services Modules. Two of these modules are in Active/Standby mode with each residing in a separate 6500-series chassis.
We've had to perform a couple of failovers over the last couple of months which results in the Active CSM no longer being probed by our Cacti install so, as a result, the data we see is no longer accurate.
The last time this happened I manually went in and changed all the pertinent data source to point to the IP of the new host but that was a tedious & drawn out process.
Is there a way to change all the applicable data sources in a bulk fashion, whether through the GUI or by modifying any files, to point to the new IP?
Thanks!

Re: Data Source Host Mappings
Don't use the IP of the individual device. Use either your failover IP, or better yet, the FQDN.
In our installations of Cacti, we don't use the IPs anywhere. We use the hostname, and let the OS handle resolution.
You may end up with indexing issues though... if this ends up being the case, you may just want to graph both devices, then create aggregate graphs based on the individual graphs from the two devices.
