The fields are there in 2.8, but still not being collected.

Right now, I am right in the middle of 0.8.7g, so I put this on the back burner.

If you want to take a crack at adding this collection to the ifInterfaces function and the view interfaces table, I will merge into 3.0 of MacTrack.

It's not too difficult. You have to add the columns to the insert statement, and use the same methodology for other fields.

Open a bug report and attach the patch.

Yes, my plan is to spend some time in the February time frame on getting things in better shape for the next release.

Hello the Witness.

First of all, congratulations and thank you by doing such excelent work within cacti.

I have a sugestion that can make Mactrack a great revolution on cacti.

Mactrack does almost all the job but dont finished it.

Looks the case:

I have a switch, with 48 ports.
With Mactrack i can know what mac address and IP address and on the ports, COOL!

Now the Magic:

Why not Mactrack, when collect a mac address port, search for this macaddress on the cacti database.

So, if a device are registred at cacti and you make a link like: DEVICE X is on PORT Y of SWITCH A.

So we can know what 'cacti device' represents that MAC/IP address.

If it already do it please gimme a light in how to make happens.

cya!
