To begin with custom templates CPU/memory for Juniper MX

Post by dkarpekin »

Hi all.
I just started using Cacti even used previously Solarwinds for 7 years or so.
I definitely find useful, but the challenge is now, how to start writing custom template.
I do looking detailed advise - what XML editors to use, simple example which can be used to start advance more.
Do have all MIB's, and in general is pretty clear.
But for example when I tried modify working Cisco CPU template, buy inserting appropriate OID for Juniper MX960, I don’t have any graph.
I tried follow

but probably need to understand more basics how to deal when creating new templates.
Please help me graph CPU/Memory monitoring for JuniperMX960/320.
See SNMPwalk in attach.
