Don't want Auto scale! Set scale to interface max?

Is it possible to configure cacti to adjust the scale to interface max?
Like. If i have a cisco router that has a ethernet interface that is configured to 100Mbps i want the graph to say 100 mbps un scaled.

Yup.

Go to the graph, under graph management.

Uncheck autoscale.

Add in your max boundry

I want cacti to auto detect what max speed the interface is using and adjust the graph to that.

If i monitor a 10Mbps interface the graph should diplay a static max at 10Mbps
If i monitor a 100Mbps interface the graph should diplay a static max at 100Mbps.

I have done this in MRTG/ Routers2 by using the a command in the Routers.conf file.

Not quite so simple as 'automaticlly detecting'.. it CAN do that, but you'll need a fairly complicated query.

There's a pretty easy way to do it, though.

Go in, edit the graph templates of the interface graphs. Uncheck auto scale, check rigid boundries, put the scale of most of your devices as the upper limit (100000000 if most are 100mb, tack on a 0 if most are gig. don't forget to multiply by 8 for the bits graphs).

Then, in the device templates for machines that have gig-e cards, add the gig graphs. For the ones that have 100mb cards, add the 100mb graphs.
