CISCO 6509 Switch Issue

Hi,

I am trying to poll data using SNMP for CISCO 6509 Switch(comprising few VLANs). I am using latest CACTI version.

But I was not able to gather any Interface information from the SNMP option. I know SNMP is working as it can gather interfaces from other CISCO Routers.

Does anyone have any Idea, please let me know.

Does it work with other devices? I am monitoring 6509's without incident...

I would do an snmpwalk at the command line to make sure you are using the correct hostname/community string.

That would at least reveal if cacti is the culprit or not.

Hi'

I have no problem to monitor port for a Cisco 6000. The only problem is I was unable to monitor the global traffic for an entire VLAN ( All snmp variable for the VLAN are zero ) in CatOS
Does anybody know how to monitor that ?

vlan traffic are zero,what's wrong,but the catos 5505 vlan traffic is normal
