Hi Everyone,
Just to know a little bit of tricks on how to make a transparent link for may network map. I want to hide the links as I used my network layout as a background. Please share your tricks on how to do it.
ADVANCE MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!

Re: Transparent Link
I don't get it. Just delete them?
Why would you want a link you can't see?

Weathermap 0.98a is out! & QuickTree 1.0. Superlinks is over there now (and built-in to Cacti 1.x).
Some Other Cacti tweaks, including strip-graphs, icons and snmp/netflow stuff.
(Let me know if you have UK DevOps or Network Ops opportunities, too!)

Re: Transparent Link
Hi Howie,
Thanks for your reply, what I want is the transparent link so that I can see my original network diagram as a background. But if I point my mouse cursor to the interface with transparent link I should show the graph on that link. For example if I use my network diagram as weathermap background then create nodes and add link, to make my network diagram visible I want to change the weathermap link to white so that I can see only my network diagram link. Sorry for not explaining well as I am new in this environment.

Re: Transparent Link
Ah, now I understand. Weathermap won't do that for you though.
The solution would be to make a normal map with visible links, and then change the HTML output to use the imagemap generated by Weathermap, but with the background image. That would give you the interactive part from Weathermap but none of the graphics. This isn't possible with the Cacti-integration, but would be with standalone weathermap.
If you want some graphics, but not links, that would require a couple of small code changes. You wouldn't be able to use the editor afterwards, however (it uses the same code).

"VIASTYLE angled" in the link.
