email field address syntax problem

email field address syntax problem

Hello, I am unable to define an E-mail address which contains periods(.) and dashes(-)

ex.
Admin.ML.Mailing-list@ISP.net

What works is either multiple periods or dashes, a combination of both is not allowed!

Is there already a solution to this case? :roll:
