cacti home page and graph pages not openin in freebsd 8

Hello,

I need support on my cacti installation, the cacti home page and graph pages not opening in freebsd 8 and i have edited the php.ini for the date.time to Africa/lagos.

Did you follow the installation hints at first link of my sig? To be honest, our FreeBSD knowhow is not the best. But please give us the exact error message you are encountering

The first issue i have is when i finished installing the application and created a user i got issue with logging into sql with this error"ERROR 1045 (28000): Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: NO)"

and when i tried to use the the path "localhost.domain/graph" i got these as the error "FATAL: Cannot connect to MySQL server on 'locahost'. I was experiencing the same issue in a brand new Cacti installation running over an openSUSE 11.3 with PHP 5.3.3. After digging a little on the php.net online manual I applied one of the suggested solutions adding at the start of the include/global_constants.php the following code:

After this the warnings were off and my spine is runing like a champ.
