OS: centOS 5.5 final
I install cacti via yum...
it installed cacti version 0.8.7g with files at /usr/share/cacti
I patched it and installed latest PA and realtime, thold and settings plugins
now, I updated my server and during that I noticed that cacti had reinstalled 0.8.7g with the files at /var/www/cacti!
anyways, I deleted the old files and reconfigured cacti. everything was working fine.
one day, i though I should reduce the poller interval, I reduced it from 5 min to 1 min and changed all corresponding stuff. even rebuild poller cache..
since then, no new data is coming in/out cacti
even when I've restored the older interval nothing happens
graphs continue with their old values (there are no gaps)
log files remains empty.....
cacti is dead it seems....However, when I view the graphs in realtime (via the realtime plugin) the realtime window works perfect....
please help me fix it!

Re: Cacti stopped working suddenly!
Well, I'll follow it but I found a really irritating thing about cacti...
I have several centOS 5.5 machines on which I have cacti.
and I used yum install cacti for all of them. Exact same configuration.
Each of them, has a different working directory...
1. /usr/share/cacti
2. /var/www/html/cacti
3. /var/www/cacti
4. /usr/src/cacti
... and others
I don't understand why it cant be a standard...

Better yet, install cacti yourself from now on. http://docs.cacti.net/manual:087:1_inst ... under_unix
