95th in and out

Post by mikerpalmer »

This is a great product, I have been playing around with it for a couple of days now. Quick question, is there a way to do 95th on in or out but not both? I have searched but have not come up with much.

Thanks for any help or pointers.

I may be wrong, but what it should be doing is giving you the 95th percentile on the highest average value. Meaning, if you do more outbound traffic than inbound...it'll give you the 95th percentile of your outbound traffic.

Nope, the template included does both in + out. I think I have a solution, just testing it out.

did you find out how to do this? I would very much like to this as well. I need to know what the 95th is for IN and what the 95 if for OUT

Thanks for the work on this. I imported the template and changed the graph template under several interfaces that I was already collecting stats on.
Either I may be impatient or I have a problem in that the new fields to the right for transfer and 95th percentile are not populating.

One box it is running on FreeBSD 4.10, cacti 0.8.6c, mysql 4.1.7, php 4.3.8

Second box is running FreeBSD 6.0, cacti 0.8.6g, mysql 4.1.15, php 4.4.1

None of the graphs on either box appear to be updating.

Am I missing something obvious?
