RRDTool stops updating!

Post by 256mxr »

Hi!

Operating System: XP SP3
Webserver: Apache 2.2.17
Cacti:0.8.7g
Spine:0.8.7g
MySQL:5.5.1
PHP:5.3.3
RRDTool (Cygwin or Win32 version):1.2.15
Net-SNMP:5.5.0-1
Cygwin (cygwin1.dll version):
Plugin Architecture:

I have just installed cacti, php, mysql, apache, net-snmp and spine as detailed in http://bsod2600.home.comcast.net/~bsod2 ... l#Patching

The problem is that in my graphs there is only one value! RRDtool only updates rrd files with the first output of the snmp queries. This is confirmed in cacti.log.

There is only one line containing:

10/27/2010 04:18:26 PM - POLLER: Poller[0] CACTI2RRD: c:/rrdtool/rrdtool.exe update C:\apache\htdocs\cacti\rra\xp_localhost_hdd_used_12.rrd --template hdd_total:hdd_used 1288192702:26847281152:15558320128

Any ideas on what is going on??

Hmm you actually got mysql 5.x and php 5.x working 'eh? nice.

With the cacti.log level turned to high or debug, any other errors during the polling cycle?

Seems to be working I think it shouldn't??

I send the log but there is only one line with error! I think is not related.

I tried to run php -q cmd.php 5 and I can´t! Has to be 0 or 2 arguments and it works OK.

I wasn't able to get php 5.3 to work properly, which is why my installer still uses the latest 5.2.x version. You might want to give that a shot and see if it fixes your problems.
