I have the syslog plugin installed on my logging server and all logs go to /var/log/messages on my freebsd install with syslog-ng enabled.
How does the syslog plugin know where to look or which syslog is installed? I get no data at all although the logfile is growing all the time.
First I had just syslogd running but I don't think the plugin is compatible. I installed syslog-ng afterwards and reinstalled the plugin but still no result.
