No Arp Table from Cisco IOS 15.x
FYI: I have one newer router that is running IOS 15.x. It is the same model as all my other routers those routers are running 12.4. Mactrack doesn't seem able to pull the ARP table on the 15.x router.

Re: No Arp Table from Cisco IOS 15.x
It's been a long time since I've gotten this, sorry. To be honest a number of projects ended up superseding this. Now it's needed again. Can you please tell me how to run that scanner manually?
Thank you

Re: No Arp Table from Cisco IOS 15.x
Here are the results of that command:
DEBUG: HOST: 10.113.1.1 is alive, processing has begun.
DEBUG: Scanning function is 'get_standard_arp_table'
DEBUG: atifIndexes data collection complete
DEBUG: atPhysAddress data collection complete
DEBUG: atNetAddress data collection complete
DEBUG: atPhysAddress MAC Address Conversion Completed
DEBUG: atEntries assembly complete.
DEBUG: HOST: 10.113.1.1, IP address information collection complete
Also, this router is a 2800 Series router, I have another 2800 Series router that MacTrack works fine on. The only difference is that the non-working router is running IOS: c2800nm-spservicesk9-mz.150-1.XA1.bin and the good unit is c2800nm-advipservicesk9-mz.124-12.bin.
I can verify that the arp table is populated on the non-working router.

I'm wondering if you've had a chance to look at this output. It would appear to me to say it's OK, but I'm still not getting data. Also, I've deleted and re-added the device to MacTrack and I get the same problem.
Are there any other logs I can look at?
Thanks,
Dave

I'm not sure this is related but I found this in my /var/log/apache2/cacti_error.log:
[Mon Oct 18 16:00:37 2010] [error] [client 10.102.11.250] File does not exist: /usr/share/cacti/site/plugins/mactrack/plugins, referer: http://cacti.ketchum.com/plugins/mactra ... vice_id=78
This error occurs when ever you go in to the Device Edit Screen, and it doing it for all devices, including working ones. But I thought I would include it for completeness.

Re: No Arp Table from Cisco IOS 15.x
The error may have something to do with the Graph Interface. I know that there are some issues there. The issue with your specific device is likely it's IOS/Operating System/SNMP Agent and not so much MacTrack, unless it's using the wrong scanning function. Routers are pretty strait forward. All you have is an ARP table and an interfaces table. So, if ARP is not working, no IP's will be detected for either that site, or a portion if it's not the only router.

Re: No Arp Table from Cisco IOS 15.x
Witness:
I have some new info on this:
1: We recently installed a new Cisco 2900 Series Router also running 15.x IOS. It is working fine, I'm getting this router's ARP table.
2: I am still not getting the ARP table from the Cisco 2800 series router that has been giving me problems. It shows zero IP's. However, I am able to see the SNMP data in the device header.
3: I've upgraded the IOS on the non-functioning 2800 series router.
4: I see no errors anywhere to troubleshoot from.
5: MacTrack is definitely detecting the Device Type correctly on the non-functional router
6: I've deleted the Non-Functional Device and re-added it, with the same results.
What else can I check?
