Threshold never triggered

Dear Experts,

I`m trying to get basic thresholds working in my cacti installation.
Currently I wont get any threshold triggered.
Cacti version is 0.8.7.g - threshold version ist also the latest (0.4.2).
I have several devices which are using the advanced ping 1.3 script.
Polling and graphs are working correct as they should.
I wanted to create a threshold, which sends me an email when the ping value exceeds 5ms.
So I created a threshold with high/low values and entered "5" into max value.
Threshold anyway never gets triggered.

I attached the threshold and threshold definition.

Check your cacti log. Its kinda strange that it is using the "1 Polling" instead of "1 Minute" or "5 Minutes", etc... like your other ones. It may be having issues with the advanced ping datasource. Can you test any of the others and see if they are working?

many thanks for you feedback and suggestions.
I`m going to try that on the weekend and give you feedback.
As you can see in the screenshot I also failed to alert on disk space. (Host MIB)
