[solved] Graphs are not showing data, only a red X

Post by wglodek »

I installed Cacti on Red Hat and I see information being obtained in the SNMP cache so it looks like the data is getting logged. I also am running RDDTool version 1.2, Configuration -> Settings shows the file is found and I have configured the RRDTool Utility Version as RRDTool 1.x.2 in the general section. I would look more at the SNMP settings, but I would think that the localhost test for memory, processes and disk space would work out of the box.

I have another monitoring program on the same server which used RRDTool and the graphs are showing up on that programs web pages so I know the utility itself works.

I don't see anything in the cacti.log.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

What about your crontab? Is it setup/running?

Thank you. I had a path issue in the crontab file. Once I updates the path the graphs started to show up.
