online/offline by port?

Post by nalletje »

Good day to you!

I'm in search of a plugin that can scan a selected port and check it if it's online or offline. For example http port: 80.
I allready tried network tools plugin, but that isn't an auto plugin.

Is there any plugin or script that i could use to arrange this?

- It must show a page with online or offline description
- It must be automatic, not by hand.

++ Option to use threshold
++ Show the page on another server without login details

Thanks for your time!

I really thing you would be better off using Nagios for this: http://www.nagios.org
