Thold current value empty, thold never trigger.

Post by joseph817 »

I settup thold to monitor Cisco router interface inbound traffic. In the thold status tab, the "current" value collumn is empty, and thold never trigger. But when I go into the threshold setting detail, I can see the current value.

Hope you can help me. Thanks in advance.

Do you have error's in your Cacti Log?

What version of THold, what version of Cacti?

What happens when you run:

Code: Select all

php -q poller.php --force
From the command line?

Did you ever find a solution for this?

It has just started happening on my install of Cacti/Thold after updating CentOS. I was running 0.8.7e with Thold 0.4.1. I have since upgraded to 0.8.7g with Thold 0.4.2 but this hasn't resolved the issue.

After testing I have noticed that it only occurs when using 'ALL_DATA_SOURCES_NODUPS' in a CDEF. I 'think' I remember there being an issue with using 'ALL_DATA_SOURCES_NODUPS' previously but this was with a 0.3.x version?

Thanks

I was using it on a traffic graph to total the incoming and outgoing traffic, then thresholding on this value.

I am using 'ALL_DATA_SOURCES_NODUPS' elsewhere with Cacti and this is working fine.

Thanks
