We are looking to add additional cacti servers to allow polling from multiple geographic locations and for redundancy. I really do not want the configuration of each to become an island.
- What methods has the communitiy used to keep configurations, rrd's, etc in sync?
- Do you only do administration from one box, then push/pull the config to the other servers?
If anyone has written any scripts to manage this, please post.

Me too
Hi all
Maybe someone in here can give me a little help. I am working on a distributed cacti monitoring system where I will have one master cacti box and several slave cacti box's. where all the slave box's are going to do all the polling and send the log files back to the master box. The master box is where I will be entering all the data and distribute the data out of the master database to the slave databases based upon their unique ID and information. Where I am running into problems is figuring out the database scheme if anyone has a schema of the database I would really appreciate if you could send it to me.
Thanks, best regard

Re: Me too
This is the 088 design. We have not been able to 'finish' though. We are working at attempting to free our schedules to do just that though. It's tough, as working on Cacti is a second job to us.trungtano wrote:Hi all
