In PIA 2.9, you don't modify global.php, only config.php. Look to config.php.dist for an example.

Is there a way of telling which PIA is installed ? I was unable to find anything in the DB or the php files.

A version would be really nice to have, so one could decide in the plugins what to display depending on the PIA version.

It's a config variable, pretty sure. You check in global_ohiforget.php. Look at <path_cacti>/plugins.php, I call it out there right in the Header.

Ahh,

Thanks, found it in "global_arrays.php"

Code: Select all

$plugin_architecture = array(
        'version' => '2.4'
        );

Hopefully there are. Some new API calls should be included which are needed by the CereusReporting and nmidSmokePing plugin.

Tony asked for some testing prior to releasing. It's on the website, but not sure if it's 'published'. So far there has been no feedback, which is a good thing.

Any Idea why my interface layout is changed?

I also had the problem when changed from 2.6 to 2.8. I never managed to resolve it.

It looks like some code had shifted the whole thing and the whole cacti system is in a frame that has a padding of several pixels
