Post by lecarbajalp »

Hi

Im using cacti Version 0.8.7e to monitoring switches an routers, but the graphics appear cut time to time.

is this a problem of configuration in the polling?

That usually happens if the poller can't communicate with your device, such as if it were down or wasn't responding fast enough (timeout).

(I think... I'm still new to this too :D)

I encountered this same error and found taht some of my rrd files were set as root:root ownership. Make sure the ownership of your rrd files in the rra directory are set to your cacti user.

That happens, when either running crontab as root or running the poller manually as root. And yes, the solution is as described
