I've just started building a Nagios server under RHEL 5.3. I've installed a full version of RHEL 5.3 (all packages). I've also just finished (manually) installing the latest Nagios core packages. Nagios is up and running.
I now want to incorporate Cacti for graphing purposes. Is there a step by step guide (specific to RHEL 5.3 and Nagios) that will take me through the process? If not can someone point the way please?
TIA.
Cacti Integration With Nagios

Dang it! Well, I was hoping you'd point both of us in a better direction. I've inherited an ugly Windows product for monitoring/alerting and I'm considering replacing it with Nagios. I'd love to know if there's some synergies between the 2 products. Hell, if nothing else I'd love for it to use the SNMP data I'm already collecting just to reduce the burden on the target machines.

When I wasn't getting any feedback from the Cacti community, I started to look at other options.
Today, I've managed to get PNP4Nagios graphing enabled. Only just started monitoring/graphing our Cisco switches but looks not too back and totally integrates to Nagios (click icon next to host/service to display trending graphs).
