No Graphs on Solaris 10 with 0.8.7g

Post by watchsat »

Hi all,

Just installed the Cacti v0.8.7g in the Solaris 10 SPARC server, everything looks fine but it won't show any graph like attached picture.

When I zoom any of them, move the mouse pointer into the area that should show picture, the pointer will change from arrow to a thin cross.

Also tested the rrdtool is working, I can use the examples to generate pictures, and display directly from apache directories (outsdie of cacti).

The default user cactiuser can login into mysql and access the database cacti; manually executed the poller.php from cacti path, no error reported.

Does anyone has idea which part is not functional, or point me the direction to trouble-shooting?

TIA!!!

Additional info:

1. No error showed in the log, only have "AUTH LOGIN" messages.
2. local snmp is working, can run the snmpwalk and generate records.
3. All packages were installed from Blastwave (CSW).
4. Version info:
PHP: 5.2.13
MYsql : 5.0.90
Apache2: 2.2.15
netsnmp: 5.4.2.1

Thanks for the reply, I did check those before and didn't get it.

Second times read again, now I found the main reason why I don't see any picture (no rra files); The PHP binary was point to wrong one...

The log is complain the poller is run too fast (5 minutes), and change to 10 minutes and watching...That's good news to me, looks like it's doing something...

Thanks for the help!

:D
