Where does this file go? if you put it in /usr/local/cactid/bin it doesnt seem to work? the docs are sparse and dont even mention this file?

Also the log file directive isnt known?

The LogFile directive is no longer required (at least in this version). Therefore the directive has been removed. When we migrate to a multipoller architecture, we may change this.

Where does this file go though? is it in the same dir as the binary? or perhaps the cacti home or cacti web home?

Place it in the same directory as the cactid executable. If you have Unix, you can also put it in the /etc folder.

graph problem

Could using cactid instead of poller correct my graph export problem? (I am not sure if cactid or poller generates the graphs)

Not neccesarily. Do you exceed your poll time? Have you run in Debug mode for 1 poll cycle? Please let me know.

I am fairly sure I dont exceed the poll time, but how do I run the poller in debug mode?

"Settings->General->Log Level->DEBUG". Do it for only 1 or 2 polling cycles since will fill up your file system really fast.
