Empty index.php after "Finish" button when install

Post by sc2010 »

Hi all

I'm installing Cacti on FreeBSD, and followed the guideline from http://forums.freebsd.org/showthread.php?t=182. All works fine up to the final configuration, when Cacti finds all required programs. When I hit the finish button, a blank index.php file opens (not displayed in the browser, but downloaded.

These error logs are seen in the apache log:

Code: Select all

This is surely not PHP 2.2, is it? And which version of cacti, please? Did you apply the required changes to include/config.php? Are u using PIA?

PHP 5.2.12, of course. I was looking at the version of Zend...
Cacti version is 0.8.7g, and yes, include/config.php seems correct to me, the database is there and can be accesed using those credentials.

I have now reinstalled and upgraded the fairly old FreeBSD system to 8.1. Cacti works... :-)
