Syslog

Post by mali1983 »

Hello everyone ,

I am very new to cacti and i have a question.Does cacti gathers all windows event logs or just warning and errors? And if it only collects errors and warning is there a way to make it collect all event logs (infos, successes etc)

Thank you

Moved to windows.
Looking at the syslog plugin may help. I do not use it, so I can't judge

There is no plugin (that I'm aware of) which collects Windows Event Log entries.

There are binaries, both OSS and commercial that will forward event logs to Syslog though.
