Can you post the graph?
Are you using a graph template, or did you create a graph from your own data sources?

What devices are you graphing? Brand and model please.
How many devices are you graphing and how many of the graph have this problem?

here is the screenshot
i don't know what model exactly the interface is as it is emulated by the vmware GSX server host. how ever in /var/log/dmesg i could find
pcnet32.c:v1.27a 10.02.2002 tsbogend@alpha.franken.de
pcnet32: PCnet/PCI II 79C970A at 0x1080, 00 0c 29 27 11 47 assigned IRQ 18.
eth0: registered as PCnet/PCI II 79C970A
pcnet32: 1 cards_found.
What i did is I did tcpdump capture (tcpdump -v eth0) and then i imported this into a mysql db to run some stats over it. i sum the lengh of the ip packets coming my IP and and the ones leaving from My IP, and i get a somewhat more right figure.
inbound seems to be somewhat lower than the outbound.
which is logical as this server is a web server and and shoutcast relay server.
My server has two permenant inputs : a 250kbs NSV stream and a 128kbs MP3. so it can happen that the input is high than output. but inbound volume should follow outbound in a such a way ! and the wierd thing is that ifconfig seems to give me the same figures.
driver bug ? vmvare bug ? how can i be sure?
