Hi Phalek:
My trouble was solved!,
In fact, I had to delete the old "ixed" files in php/ext, after that I was able to see the instrucctions on howto-install.php and everything was OK. Now I see the "nmidCreatePDF" button, and on the left the "NMID" menu (I only see "Manage reports"...maybe because of Free Version).

Well, I tried to generate a pdf like I used to do in the old version, but I see "MRTGStyle" when I put the mouse under "the pdf "icon and teh file is generated without any extension like this: "createPDFReport_mrtgStyle".

Do I need another file?, ....

Please have a look at the Quick Installation Guide from here: http://www.network-outsourcing.de/corpo ... ation.html

Check if you did follow all of the steps described in there .

Also, I didn't include the "tmp" dir in the archive, so check if you see a tmp dir in the nmidCreatePDF folder. If not, create one and make it writeable by the webserver and cactiuser.

You can check if everything is settup correctly by pointing your browser to the debug page. Change the URL to fit your installation

I did the following, according the link you told me:
replaced the files: graph.php,tree.php,html_tree.php, created the "tmp" folder
after that I see the a new feature on the top of the graphs (look at my capture). Now is generating the pdf's but is corrupted, I attach what I got when I run debug.php

any advice?

Yes, install the mbstrings module and also download the parallelgraphretriever add-on which actually creates the graphs

and for further troubleshooting: THe PDF files are not corrupted, but they are plain text files if there are errors. So you can view them in e.g. Notepad and will see some furhter error message.

v0.85 is out. This version is only a bugfix release. If nmidCreatePDF is working fine for you, then you do not need to upgrade.

Well, I put the parallelgraphretriever.exe in plugins/nmidCreatePDF folder. ....But in PHP, I heave troubles to install php_mbstring.dll.
I add a new line in php.ini
extension=php_mbstring.dll

and my php_mbstring.dll file in C:php/ext, but I doesn't load!
In php_errors.txt file I see:
[21-Jul-2010 14:52:23] PHP Warning: PHP Startup: Unable to load dynamic library 'C:\php\ext\php_mbstring.dll' - The specified module could not be found.
in Unknown on line 0

finally, rebooted my server. but I got the same result.
am I forgetting something?

by the way, viewing the pdf with notepad , I get:

You may want to download that mbstring extension from the php.net site and replace it. Not sure what's wrong there.

For the FPDF error, that's quite common, but I actually forgot what it was ... Did you check the directory permissions of the images dir ? the webserver needs to be able to write to it and the images in there,too.

Do you have safe_mode = on in php.ini ?

Hi Phalek:

It works! ,... well, what I did was:
I installed php_mbstring.dll from php.net, all was OK, no more errors, (actually the first php_mbstring.dll was and old version , maybe this was the problem).
but the trouble in pdf wasn't solved, so.... I realized that in "settings->NMID" I should have put "php" in the "PHP binary path" field (it was blank)....That was all.. after that the pdf was generated OK.

Thanks... , Phalek, your plugin is terrific!! ....so It works on Windows Server 2003 SP2, IIS 6.0 , PHP 5.2.9

Hi Phalek:
I was testing "Add report", following the steps on the video (you put it in a old reply..), well , when I add the local graphs, I can not see them under "local graphs for this report").. however I see them in the table "plugin_nmidcreatepdf_graphreports on Mysql, also in spite of I deleted the report. ...

But the pdf is generated OK. the trouble is that I can not see the names I add under "local graphs for this report"...

ok, so i need to fix that

THe title of the local graphs are actally the title_cache field from the cacti db. Not sure when they are actually being populated but either wait a few mintues or try browsing to the graph in the tree view and check back if it's being populated.
