0.8.7g´: Can't add new hosts (snmp error) but old graphs OK

Post by Max18 »

After Upgrading from 8.7e to 8.7g all old graphs are OK but I can't add new devices or update device information.

Verbose Query at devices Associated Data queries show:
+ Running data query [1].
+ Found type = '3' [snmp query].
+ Found data query XML file at 'C:/NG/Xampp/htdocs/cacti/resource/snmp_queries/interface.xml'
+ XML file parsed ok.
+ Executing SNMP walk for list of indexes @ '.1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.1'
+ No SNMP data returned

But not snmp packet is send to the device

1) http://forums.cacti.net/viewtopic.php?t=11747
2) No SNMP data returned means just that... there was no data returned from the device. investigate accordingly.
3) double-check ntfs permissions are correct since they likely got reset on the upgrade.

What do you receive as an error message? A screenshot may help as well
