SNMP OID to get the individual cpu usage

Post by guest1 »

Hi,

Output from snmpwalk command for the OID .1.3.6.1.2.1.25.3.3.1

Object ID: .1.3.6.1.2.1.25.3.3.1.1.10
Object ID: .0.0

Object ID: .1.3.6.1.2.1.25.3.3.1.2.10
INTEGER: 90

Object ID: .1.3.6.1.2.1.25.3.3.1.1.11
Object ID: .0.0

Object ID: .1.3.6.1.2.1.25.3.3.1.2.11
INTEGER: 90

The OID returns the cpu id and the usage of each cpu.

But my question why the processor id is returned like .0.0. Its not return the exact processor id.

How can i determine which cpu is taken this amount of usage?

Please clarify my doubt

Thanks.

1) why aren't you using the snmp - processor template that comes with cacti?
2) use the thold plugin to alert when a cpu reaches a threshold you define.
