Windows performance monitoring (without using SNMP)

Post by shreekarthik »

Has anyone tried graphing data that windows perfmon provides in cacti?

http://members.optusnet.com.au/picuspic ... rfmon.html

I found the above link in this forum. I would like to know if anyone has tried something similar to this with cacti. I know that it is possible to graph windows perfmon statistics in MRTG using a perl script called getlog.pl. What I am trying to do is, making use of cacti for this purpose. Does anyone have experience in this field?

Thanks,
J.

Yes. Search for WMI in this forum or VBS.

For those wondering, I'm still here, but lost in the shadows. Yearning for less bugs. Who want's a Cacti 1.3/2.0? Streams anyone?
