cacti cycle plugin not working/showing

cacti cycle plugin not working/showing

I recently installed cycle 0.7 which i got from http://cactiusers.org/downloads/ but i don't see any tabs and it's not showing in usermanagement > realm permissions nor listed under plugins management.

I tried installing Login Mod - v1.0 and Update - v0.4 and both worked fine. I already added at config.php the $plugins[] = 'cycle';
under $plugins = array() with $url_path = "/cacti/";

I'm using Cacti Version: 0.8.7g, Plugin Architecture Version: 2.8

What could it be that i'm missing? :(

hi linegod, i tried ommiting from config.php:

/*
$url_path = '/cacti/';
define('URL_PATH', $url_path);
*/

and apache logs no errors. However, still no signs of cycle plugin.

Please do the following:

1) uncomment only the '$url_path'. That is needed.
2) test the attached plugins.php. This file goes in the cacti webroot
3) Don't forget to backup the original

OK. You do know next conference call I am going to stress the 'bug report => patch => direct users to bug report => release patch' cycle. Again :)

In the mean time, can you generate a patch file for SVN #'s 58 and 59 and post it to the bug reports 1802 and 1801.

We also need either a "General" Category for the Plugins Project, or a "Plugin Management" Category under Cacti, which I prefer. I filed under "HTML/CSS" for now.

Added 'Plugin Architecture' to Cacti Plugins dropdown. Moved and updated 1801 & 1802

Added patches to bugs.
