Taking to much memory

Post by paintballer4lfe »

i have to do a new fresh install and i have the database configured and it works.

MySQL is running fine, and so is apache, but when i go to /install, i get this:

Code: Select all

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 24 bytes) in *:\***********\SNMP\lib\database.php on line 178
i have PHP setup to use 120MB, i only have 512MB installed on the machine.

i updated my xampp on my Windows 2003 server, and now everything is just a blank white screen.

Any help someone, Thanks.

Looks like your server doesn't have enough memory available. This will limit how many devices you can have.

Lower the memory usages limits of php and mysql.

For php, try 64mb and see how it works.

Mysql config is set in my.ini. There are various settings for memory. Cacti (normally) only uses MyISAM.
