Poller timeout

Post by jmcculla »

I get graphs for cpu and memory, but when I add the interfaces for a cisco 3640 the log file reports, Poller (0) maximum runtime of 296 seconds exceeded, exiting. No graphs are created for any of the interfaces and the existing graphs are not updated.

timeout

By any chance did you reboot your box after making the changes to the timeout in your php.ini? On my box, I had to reboot to get it to take but it runs like a champ now.

The runtime message is a Cacti one. You should run in debug mode once to determine whats going on.

Poller Timeout

Post by jmcculla »

I had tried the reboot, usually try that first, and I changed the poller to cmd.php in settings and poller.php in the scheduler and now the graphs are there and hopefully they will have data. All the router files are created in the cacti rra directory. Thanks very much for the help. Jim
