weathermap editor width limitation

Post by zeki »

i tried to set my map dimension to 4000 x 2000 and the weathermap editor will not display the map. if I change it back to something around 3300 it works fine.
Anybody know how to get around this?

Just edit the configfile in your favorite texteditor or make your map smaller.
For every map
-create a map with the editor which is small.
-place one static node
-add nodes relative to the static one.
-add links
-finish up in the webeditor
-open config file with text editor
-adjust width
-save file
-wait until next successful run
-take a look and decide whether to change it or keep it.

Most likely, change the memory_limit in php.ini

There's nothing in weathermap itself to limit the size of the map.
Weathermap 0.98a is out! & QuickTree 1.0. Superlinks is over there now (and built-in to Cacti 1.x).
Some Other Cacti tweaks, including strip-graphs, icons and snmp/netflow stuff.
(Let me know if you have UK DevOps or Network Ops opportunities, too!)
